Volunteer of the Month
Each month Families & Friends selects a volunteer who exemplifies the best of selfless dedication to the mission and goals of the agency - advocacy for victims of violent crime, and advancing the goal of victims' rights in Washington State. Volunteers are critical to the operation of Families & Friends,
without them the agency would not exist. Our thanks and heartfelt gratitude
goes with the Volunteer of the Month for the selfless work that they perform
on behalf of victims of violent crime. It takes a special person to volunteer
valuable time away from family and loved ones to advocate on behalf of victims,
to advance the cause of victims’ rights for victims they may never meet, and
perform whatever task is necessary to keep the agency viable. Thanks to these
